I just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much my wife and I enjoyed diving with Dive Aqaba. Roel, Val and Siri were absolutely fantastic. My wife was a newly certified diver when we went, and Roel, Val and Siri were great with her. The chilly wind was a problem for her, and Siri was always there with hot tea for her when she got out of the water. I think she might have gotten hypothermia if it wasn't for Siri.

Just a note of thanks with regards to our course last week. We had some great dives with Abass and Anas, were catered for very well on the boat by the crew, and Izz was a great instructor, skipper, chef, etc, who really looked after my wife during a couple of the dives when she was having issues with her mask; you've got yourself a good guy there. Although asking someone to calculate 7 + 7 x 1.3 at 30 metres was not particularly fair...

Hey Rod,

I wanted to email and say how great the trip was on Thursday. I thought the staff handled the hiccups with the boat quite well and everyone loved the food. We're heading east with the ship, but I'll be sure to touch base the next time we're around.

I'm sure you heard about our encounter with the whale shark. There was a gentleman from Florida that had gotten some pictures that he mentioned sharing with everyone else. Is there a chance I might be able to get those via email or have them posted online so I could share them with the other divers?

Boy did we make a mistake. Arriving in Tala Bay from a long day in Petra we decided to take the easy way out and dive with Sinai Divers at 10am rather than be up and out with your crew at 9am. It is clear that Sinai caters to a lot of beginners and we should have chosen a more serious operation. Last night, as we were having a sundowner at the Royal Yacht Club, we met a young guy, Amer, who said he knew a guy with a boat who knows the good dive sites. It turned out to be your operation. Oh well, live and learn. We'll give you a call the next time we are in Aqaba. Cheers, Jim O'Hara
