To gain the rating of Master Scuba Diver it requires a love of diving and commitment to getting things done. As a result very few divers ever gain this prestigious certification. The highest award in recreational diving. The divers on this page have worked hard with Dive Aqaba to gain this award.

Ahmad has now completed his dive education with us though to Instructor level. Along the way he has gained many specialty ratings with us and even won two runner up prizes in the PADI Specialty of the Month promotion.

Graham together with his wife Nicola are the first two divers to gain the Master Scuba Diver rating with us in 2007.

Christopher Gabriel
Chris learnt to dive with us in November 2005, he has since logged many dives and has continued his diving education to Master Scuba Diver picking up many extra specialties in different areas of recreational and technical diving along the way. He has now completed his Divemaster training with us and has joined the ranks of PADI professionals.

Ian Gillis
Ian learnt to dive with us when he found himself working in Jordan as a consultant for the local authority here in Aqaba. This gave him something to do at the weekends which he utilized to the full completing 7 specialty courses with us and worked his way to Rescue Diver, he has since logged many dives and has continued his diving education to Master Scuba Diver .

Matthew Montgomery
Matthew completed all the courses and more required to gain his Master Scuba Diver certification and earn a place on our honours board while completing his Divemaster internship programme with us in the summer of 2007.

Hysam Skarmy
After certifying as a PADI Rescue Diver Hysam went on to complete specialty courses in Digital Underwater Photography, Underwater Navigation, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving and Enriched Air diving. These last two specialties creating an interest in technical diving in which he has now started his training with us to become a DSAT Tec Deep Diver.

Claire joined us at Dive Aqaba for her second week of diving in Jordan this spring. She completed her DSAT Gas Blender course and Digital Underwater Photographer;already a PADI Rescue Diver this completed all the requirements for Master Scuba Diver. Along with her husband Nick she completed her hundredth dive with us and has promised to return for more!

Nick completed his DSAT Gas Blender course and Equipment Specialist, already a PADI Rescue Diver this completed all the requirements for Master Scuba Diver. Along with his wife Claire he completed his hundredth dive with us. He returned last summer and completed his Divemaster Course with us, becoming a PADI professional. He was also the first diver in Jordan to complete the PADI Tec Basics course.

Ben completed Reef Diver, Deep Diver, Multi-level Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Drift Diver, Boat Diver, Underwater Naturalist and Night Diver more than enough to become Master Scuba Diver and gain a place on our honours board. He also won first prize in the specialty of the month competition for MAY.
