A new rebreather protocol has been agreed between the dive centers and the navy. Basically details of rebreather divers need to be submitted to the authorities 48 hours prior to diving. Clap Bravo

Finally actually got to see the final draft or rules from the Navy... seems that CCRs are not allowed at all...
SCRs are allowed (ie the Dolphin ...maybe I should sell the Pelagian and get another two Dolphins!!)
OK we have to send all the details of the SCR diver(s) to 4 different department 48 hours in advance and just like the night dive we have to have a Navy person on the boat when we are diving.....mmm

So just to wind then up I think I should dive everyday with the Dolphin and clean up trash until they get bored watching this!! Could use the P after a few days on the Dolphin and see if the guy they send is savvy or not!

Apparently all these rules may change in another couple of months when they change all the security personel again!! Actually if there is a Navy Diver on the boat I dont see any problem using a CCR...not sure what their rationale is there....I need a third party to translate the document who is impartial! As each person I get to translate it to me says something different!

Anyway thats the latest...I will try to test the new prootocol next week with the Dolphin and see what happens! Wink
