A planned 70m dive turned into a 75m dive then an 80m dive at Aqaba Blue hole...so far deepest CCR dive in Jordan..we had a dil of Tmx15/25 having diluted a 10/52 twice...next time we will br doing Aqaba Blue Hole with new sorb and 10/52 dil or maybe even less O2...should able to beat the OC record here of 131m...actually need to go to Dorits deep to do that as the hole bottoms out at 125m! Heys guys be careful...you are only certified for 60m on mixed gas also should be 16% Oxygen or more after a Mod 2 course...wait till you do a mod 3 course before you have an accident. Surprised Surprised

After the mod one course we built up our dives over 40m down to 60m doing deco and using Trimix 16/24. So when we did the mod 2 course it was easy! Now we are working on the mod 3 course!  All bail out options are properly worked out and enough carried with reserve for each of us - no team bail out!
Plus we are doing this at our own risk! Wink

Did you manage to try a Pelagian yet, they are better balanced than the KISS and you can definately get down to the Yolander... but then again that is way beyond mod three...!! But you said you wanted to dive it!!

What certs do you have on the Kiss unit that you have and how deep have you been with it.
We also take the Dolphin SCR to 60m with appropriate bail out and OC deco gases...

nothing ventured nothing gained...if you never push the envelope you never get anywhere! One should push the envelope slowly though as we do, to remain safe...and be patient!

cheers

100M on the P with the correct mix sounds very achievable to me its not like your doing it on air
but then again incredibly experienced OC dives die on boxes all the time
Pay your money take your chance
I have touched 60 on the dolphin some might say that’s madness - would not take it any deeper

100m on the Pelagian CCR we would take Tmx10/50 as dil....with a 4.3 liter tank if the shit hits the fan you can switch to this with the BOV and start ascent...we would also be carrying three more 10 litre tanks for bail out at the worst part of the dive one a Heliair Tmx16/24...you can get on this asap after switching to OC on the dil...then we would take a 32% switch at 40m and an 80% switch at 9m...also have Oxygen tanks available in an emergency for taking down to 6m...plus extra 80% staged if needed... each diver carries their own bail out...no team bail out options....    sound OK?
