The Tec 45 course is the next step on the ladder of technical dive training. You will learn to use a full tec rig - wings and double tanks plus a side slung tank for decompression.
Course duration 2-3 days.
Prerequisites:
- PADI Tec 40 Diver
(or qualifying certification from another organization)
- PADI Rescue Diver
(or qualifying certification from another organization including proof of CPR and First Aid training in the last 2 years)
- 50 logged dives, including 12 using enriched air nitrox below 18 metres and at least 6 dives (with or without EANx) below 30 metres.
You'll learn to:
- Make gas-switch accelerated decompression dives using any mix of nitrox or oxygen
- Practise the motor skills required for technical diving
- Understand the hazards and risks involved with technical diving
- Respond to reasonably foreseeable emergencies that may occur in technical diving.
