Laila One Makeover Summer 2007
The Dive Aqaba team worked day and night for one month.
As well as a complete repaint off the hull and topsides, the sundeck and the dive deck have been re-fibreglassed. New woodwork has been made around the saloon area and the dive deck. The dive platform has been extended half a metre and new stronger double handrails added as well as a rail for storing fins. The tank racks have been hinged to allow more space when there are fewer divers or snorkellers on board. The boat has been completely rewired and a new generator installed. This will enable night cruises with a meal or barbeque. To keep up our reputation for good food a new cooker and oven have been installed to keep our chef happy! Also a new large freezer to keep all your drinks cool in the hoit summer months. A new stern tube and stern glands have been installed and the hull inspected by the authorities while she was out of the water. A new depth sounder has been added to search for new sites! She is now licensed for 20 passengers and 2 crew.
