Jerash
The Roman City next to the modern town of Jerash creates a stark contrast of different times. Still amazingly intact the amphitheatres at both ends of the city are still used for festivals, including the famous Jerash music festival each summer. After spending time exploring the remains of this incredible Roman city the Dive Aqaba team recommends that you visit the Green Valley Restaurant on the main route south of Jerash!
