Laila One - 2010

In late August 2009 Laila One was taken to Egypt for a complete rebuild. She returned to Aqaba virtually a new boat in February 2010. The dive deck has been widened and heightened giving a lot more space for divers to kit up and also a wet sheltered are from the wind. There is now a larger toilet facility on the dive deck with a standard flush toilet. (The boat toilets are still downstairs along with the cabins for storage and changing). This extra space was achieved by converting the wheelhouse to the galley so we can continue to supply our guests with a great buffet meal each day after the diving. The saloon has been refurbished and the tea coffee drinks etc moved to the port side. This is now a completely dry area. The flying bridge is now where the boat is controlled from and the sundeck has been made bigger and refurbished. The boat has been completely rewired and all the electrical items replaced and the engine has undergone a complete rebuild.
