Deep Flight Super Falcon in Aqaba
Graham Hawkes and the Deep Flight team brought their prototype "Super Falcon 0001" to Aqaba in April 2011. Scientific dives were completed making contour video surveys of the reefs down to 100m. Local scientists and politicians enjoyed sorties in the Falcon which was operated from the Navy Base, Tala Bay, the Marine Science Station and the Royal Yachts. Rod Abbotson and Steve Grace provided the deep safety support team using Pelagian DCCCRs.
