Suzanne Conway

Suzanne joined the team with April when she returned in September 2007. She learned to dive in the Philippines as a volunteer with Coral Cay Conservation, while helping to survey the reef there she gained her Advanced Open Water Diver certification. In the summer of 2007 she completed her Rescue Diver and Divemaster internship in Cornwall. Which was a completely different experience to diving in the tropics. With the internship Suzanne gained experience in diving logistics, teaching Scuba Reviews, Discover Scuba Diving and Discover Local Diving. After completing her BSc in Marine Biology at Bangor University, where she met up with April who has worked with our team before, we invited her to join the Dive Aqaba team to gain more valuable experience, while helping out and enjoying what the Red Sea has to offer. She gained a great knowledge of the local reefs and underwater wildlife here and was able to show divers the best the region has to offer! Suzanne completed her instructor training with us, became a PADI Instructor in 2008 and then for Seastar Dive Centre, she is now a proud mum.
