Walter Dworsky

Walter was the first diver to gain a technical diving certification in Jordan. Walter has been diving since the 1960's and always liked deep diving and it was a natural progression to gain a formal certification in the area of diving that appealed to him. He was one of the first pioneers in the exploration of the deeper sites here in Aqaba. Walter sadly passed away after a two year battle with cancer at age 64. He was a resident of Jordan for many years and he will be missed by many people here whose lives he touched. Walter will be remembered here by all divers here as he is pictured below enjoying the deeper depths of Aqaba.
