Visit Aqaba
Aqaba sits at the northern tip of the Red Sea, with warm water all year, easy access and plenty to see on your days out of the water.

Why Aqaba
Aqaba is a destination that works for divers from every market: warm water all year, a short flight from many cities and a dive scene that has grown since our centre opened in 2002. This side of the Gulf has strong upwelling from the depths, which feeds the reefs, and most of our sites are inside the Aqaba Marine Park.
Water and weather
The water is about 20 °C in winter, when a full 5 mm suit is fine, and about 28 °C in summer, when a 3 mm shorty is enough. We dive every day of the year.
Days out of the water
Wadi Rum
Just over an hour from Aqaba. Enjoy the sunset, spend a night under a sky with no light pollution, and explore the desert with Bedouin hospitality the next day.
Petra
About two hours from Aqaba. A must when you visit Jordan, and it takes more than one visit to see everything.
Dead Sea and Amman
Float in the lowest and saltiest water on earth, and spend a day or two in Amman for culture, markets and nightlife.
After diving, wait before flying or travelling to higher altitude. Ask our staff for the right timing before you plan a trip to Petra, Wadi Rum or Amman.
Where to stay
There are hotels and apartments close to our dive centre, from economical rooms with triple and family options to long-stay apartments and 5-star beach hotels with their own beaches a short walk away. We can book accommodation for our diving guests, and prices are higher in local holiday periods.
