Boat diving in Aqaba

Join our daily boat trips on one of the four boats we use, every day of the year. Same programme, same team, the boat that suits the day.

Four boats, one programme

Our daily boat trips run on a fleet of four boats, a mix of our own and trusted partner boats. We choose the boat for each day by group size, the dive sites planned and the sea conditions, so you always dive from the right boat for the day, and your trip does not depend on any single vessel.

Whichever boat you join, the day is the same: registration at the dive centre at 9:00, boats leave around 10:00, two guided dives with a dive guide, a buffet lunch and soft drinks on board. See how the day works and what is included and what it costs.

Where we leave from

Our daily boat trips leave from Ayla Oasis marina in Aqaba. We confirm the meeting time and place when you book, and we guide you by phone if you need help finding us. Call or message us on WhatsApp: +962 79 001 5103.

Good to know

  • Our boats are stable, but if you tend to get motion sickness, take medication before we leave.
  • Tell us about children, mobility needs or dietary requirements when you book, so we can arrange the right boat and food.
  • Technical dives are planned individually with our tec team, including boat logistics. See technical diving.
  • Prefer the beach? The same sites can often be dived from shore, and our beach club has its own exclusive sites.

What about Laila 1?

Laila 1, our former triple-decker flagship, is currently out of the water and is not part of the daily programme. For now, all trips run on the four boats described above. If that changes, we will update this page.

Laila 1 was a Red Sea liveaboard before she came to Aqaba. She made a 13-hour crossing from the Strait of Tiran to Aqaba on Christmas Day 2003, and she has been part of Dive Aqaba’s story ever since.
