About this dive site

Named after a valley in Wadi Rum, this site drops off steeply, but it offers a nice dive in the medium range of 10 – 25 m. Take care not to go too deep.

Large pelagics can be seen here, including the occasional shark, with lots of unicorn fish and some large Napoleon wrasse. There are many soft corals, which makes it great for artistic photographs. Explore left or right from the main valley and work your way up to the shallows, where shoals of sardines and fusiliers surround you.

Best for: Certified divers; keep to 10 – 25 m on the recreational dive

Type: Recreational
