Prerequisites

• PADI Adventure Diver with the Underwater Navigation dive completed, or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.
• Age 12 or older.
• Current Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care (first aid and CPR within the last 24 months).

What you will gain

• To recognise and manage stress in other divers, and to prevent incidents.
• Rescue techniques for tired, panicked and unresponsive divers, at the surface and below.
• Emergency management and equipment, built through 5 water sessions with 10 exercises and 2 scenarios.
• The base for professional levels: PADI Rescue Diver is required for PADI Divemaster.

How the course works

Expect hard work and plenty of fun. There are five knowledge sessions and a final exam, supported by video and computer-based lesson guides, and you can do the theory online with PADI eLearning. It is a good moment to add PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider and, from here, to count toward PADI Master Scuba Diver.

Where you dive in Aqaba

Dives are done on Aqaba’s reefs, wrecks and walls, from Laila 1 or from the shore. You can fit the course around a diving holiday, day by day.
