About this dive site
This site had not been dived for some years because beach access was blocked by the development of Tala Bay. Dive Aqaba helped the Marine Park relocate it and place a mooring, so it is now reached by boat. It is named after the bright blue acropora corals.
Three large fingers of coral run out to sea from 10 m down to 50 m, and the mooring is at the head of the middle finger. There is a lot to explore, so do not expect to cover everything in one dive. Crocodilefish and frogfish have both been seen here, and it is a good site for nudibranchs. On the middle finger you are usually surrounded by huge shoals of blue fusiliers. We clean up here every time we dive.
Best for: Certified divers, photographers
