About this dive site

Kiwi Reef is named after Bevan Airey, a diver from New Zealand who discovered it on an exploratory dive with Rod. At the bottom of a grass slope are many small pinnacles that form a breeding ground for juvenile fish, each with its own little ecosystem.

You will find many moray eels, lionfish, burrfish, shoals of damselfish and several large emperors. Each time we dive here something new is discovered, and it is a favourite with underwater photographers. A mooring lets us dive it from the boat as well as from the shore.

Best for: Photographers, certified divers

Type: Recreational
