About this dive site
Diving south from the mooring you find a cabbage coral at 18 m on the corner of the reef. Follow the wall back to the north along the contour of the reef, over a wide expanse of coral with black coral trees, to a sandy gulley. Follow it back up to 12 m and work your way back across the reefs to the mooring.
Cornetfish change colour in waves as they hunt smaller fish, and there are many parrotfish and eight-lined wrasse. Near the mooring is a permanent bottom line, 30 m long at 9 m depth, used for measured swims, navigation training and for staging decompression tanks on technical dives. Technical divers can continue straight out to Death Valley, starting at 50 m, and then south to Walter’s Wall and George’s Gulley, which drops to 80 m and more.
Best for: All levels, from try dives to tec
