About this dive site

Sometimes called New Canyon, although it is very old, the site is named after the German PADI instructor Oliver Wolf, who found it by accident while looking for Eel Canyon from the shore. The dive starts at two blocks of coral known as the Twins. After a look around, make a circular route around the two canyons and past the table corals.

A C-130 Hercules aircraft now lies here at 18 m, which adds to the dive, and you can work back to the Tank at 6 m for your safety stop. There is lots of life around the pinnacles, including scorpionfish, and in the sand gullies you can find Triton shells. For technical divers the deeper parts of the canyon offer a wealth of exploration, and it is a good place to finish a technical dive after decompressing from the Al Shorouk.

Best for: Certified divers; technical divers can explore the deeper canyon

Type: Recreational
