About this dive site
This barge was scuttled in 1996, after the cables to Egypt had been laid. She landed across the corner of an old sunken fishing boat that has been there since the 1970s, and before the Cedar Pride was sunk this was the only diveable wreck in Aqaba.
The wreck itself is not much to look at, but it hosts plenty of life: blue-spotted stingrays, frogfish and banded coral shrimps inside. Tour it at the beginning of a Cedar Pride dive, because it is the deeper wreck at 18 – 26 m. Technical divers often stage tanks here, so if you see tanks, please leave them alone.
Best for: Certified divers, combine with the Cedar Pride
Type: Wreck or artificial reef
