Tec 45 - Go Deeper

The Tec 45 course is the next step on the ladder of technical dive training. You will learn to use a full tec rig - wings and double tanks plus a side slung tank for decompression. You can also complete this course in sidemount configuration. Course duration 2-3 days.

 

 

Prerequisites:

  • PADI Tec 40 Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
  • PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation, including proof of CPR and first aid training in the last 2 years)
  • 50 logged dives, including 12 using Enriched Air Nitrox below 18m and at least 6 dives with ot without Nitrox below 30m
  • 18 years of age and have a current fit to dive medical signed by a physician

 

You'll learn to:

  • Make gas switch accelerated decompression dives using any mix of nitrox or oxygen
  • Practise motor skills required for technical diving
  • Understand the hazards and risks involved with technical diving
  • Respond to reasonably forseeable emergencies that may occur in technical diving
