This is a great course to improve your buoyancy control, learn some useful techniques and more about the environment. This distinctive specialty course was written by our Course Director, Rod Abbotson in 1999 and taken up by PADI, Project AWARE in 2018.

There are over 21,000 species of fish out there! On this course you will learn how to break them into groups for easy identification and discover how to make fish count estimates in a scientifically valid way for data collection and protecting the marine environment.

Find out all about the biological diversity of coral reefs, what holds them together, how they are formed and what you can do to protect the coral reefs worldwide which are home to 33% of all fish species and nursery grounds for 25% of marine species even they cover less than 1% of the sea bottom! This course is open to all and covers the plight of the world's aquatic resources, what is happening, what is being done about it and how you can help to protect them for futures generations whether you are a diver or not. If we save the Oceans, we save the World and if we save the World we save it's People. This is a must for anyone who cares about the environment.
